Personal-use scope

Hermes is an independent utility operated by an account owner for personal Google Drive backup tasks. It is not a publicly offered storage service, does not provide user registration, and is not operated by Google or Nous Research.

Authorization and acceptable use

Use the integration only for accounts and data you own or are authorized to manage. Grant access on Google's own consent pages. Do not submit passwords, one-time sign-in codes or unencrypted recovery keys through this website. Use of Google APIs remains subject to Google's applicable terms and API policies.

Backups and recovery

The owner is responsible for selecting files, safeguarding encryption and recovery material, maintaining independent copies, and checking successful restoration. A completed upload is not proof of recoverability. Do not remove an irreplaceable local copy solely because a transfer returned success.

Connecting the utility does not authorize public sharing, automatic deletion of local backups or unattended retention changes. Private archive uploads require client-side encryption and an owner-controlled recovery arrangement.

Availability and costs

The utility is provided as-is without a service-level commitment or a guarantee against data loss. Availability and capacity depend on the owner's server, network, Google account, quotas and provider policies. The operator remains responsible for any infrastructure or storage charges.

Stopping use and contact

The owner can stop the automation, revoke Google access, and remove application-created files and local credentials. See the Privacy policy for data handling. Questions should be directed to the owner/operator using the support email shown by Google during consent.
